"Lost in Translation? Not with WordPress!"

Here is a brief summary of my time as a translator with this community; it has been a very meaningful experience for me, especially since languages are my great passion. I would like to thank the Polyglots team and my mentors, Isotta Peira and Francesco Di Candia, for guiding and helping me whenever I needed it. I hope our collaboration will continue in the future.
During the final week of my internship, I continued translating various strings, and following some advice from members of the Polyglots team, I made a few corrections to improve the translations of some of them. In addition, as this experience is now coming to an end, I am finishing up my final presentation, which I will then upload to my personal website and WordPress.tv.

This week, I continued working on the translation of the plugin I mentioned earlier.

This week, in addition to translating a few strings, I decided to install the WeGlot plugin on my WordPress site. WeGlot is a website translation solution designed to help businesses or individual users translate their content.
It was really easy to install, which is why I highly recommend it to beginners who are just starting to build a website; not only does it save a lot of time when translating content, but it’s also an effective way to reach as many people as possible, anywhere in the world.
That’s why, starting today, I’ll be able to implement my projects with even greater precision thanks to the features of this tool.
Please find attached the plugin I worked on: https://translate.wordpress.org/projects/wp-plugins/surecart/stable/it/default/?filters%5Bstatus%5D=untranslated

In this third week, I focused on translating various plugin strings, plus one specific plugin for which I have translated approximately 600 strings to date. I've attached it below:

In this third week I have focused on translating plugin strings of various kinds + one plugin in particular of which I have translated about 600 strings to date. I attach it below:
February 18, 2026: translation of some strings for the new Yoast Duplicate Post release candidate, concerning basic operations on article/post publishing and the various user permissions that result from it. For the remainder of the first week, I dedicated my time to translating various plugin strings within the Translating WordPress system.

University Internship and Training Experience
I chose to work with WordPress as part of my university internship, which also serves as the culmination of my undergraduate studies. From the outset, I recognized this as a significant opportunity for personal growth and a valuable step towards my professional future. My primary focus will be on translating various content, given my background in language studies since middle school, with the aim of enhancing communication effectiveness for all users of this platform. My initial engagement involved onboarding procedures, ranging from understanding community guidelines to setting up a personal domain, guided by my tutor Francesco di Candia. I am enthusiastic about this new endeavor and hope my contributions will benefit as many individuals as possible.
